Adult Class | Portrait Painting Workshop--August
Class Instructor: Janet Checker
Class held in the Galena ARC Art Studio
Have you always wanted to paint a portrait? In this class, working from your own photo reference, you will gain basic information needed in painting a portrait. You will received many handouts to take home that will help you continue in developing your talents. What you will learn:
* The Basic proportions of a face
* Secrets of "getting it right"
* Mixing skin tones
* Mixing for hair color
* Background suggestions
SUPPLY LIST: Please bring acrylic paint, paint brushes in several sizes, including a detail brush. The ARC will supply an 8x10 canvas.
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
