Stride Events Student Scholarship

Stride Events is an online ticketing company that supports students of all disciplines who work to build their communities through volunteering, fundraising, or event organizing. Annually Stride Events offers a $500 scholarship to the winner of our annual “Community Builder” essay contest. Everyone has a unique experience around supporting their local community. We want to hear and share your inspiring story.

Eligibility

Participants must be able to verify enrollment for college at an accredited university inside the USA during the fall semester of the same year the essay is submitted.

How to Apply

Whether you volunteered, fundraised, or organized an event, write a short essay explaining what inspired you to get involved, what challenges you faced, and what you learned through the experience. Prepare an essay sharing your story between 1,000 and 2,000 words in length.

Send your essay to support@strideevents.com with “Build to Inspire – Scholarship” in the subject line – All applications must be submitted between January 1 and August 15 to be included in the contest of the same year. The contest winner will be notified on or before October 1.

Scholarship Terms

Stride Events is committed to protecting the privacy of all our visitors. By using www.strideevents.com and submitting a scholarship application, you grant all rights and ownership of submitted content to Stride Events, regardless of whether your entry is selected as a winner. Stride Events reserves the right to publish submitted work at the conclusion of the entry period in any manner Stride Events sees fit. Selection of winning submissions is entirely at the discretion of Stride Events. Each scholarship winner will be contacted by Stride Events via the same email address that was used to submit the application. Winner(s) will be confirmed ONLY after providing proof of enrollment in the form of a copy of a tuition bill OR letter of proof from the accredited United States college or university at which the winner(s) is enrolled. The Winner(s) will be publicly announced on StrideEvents.com, and Stride Events will mail the winner(s) their check.
