Introduction to Traditional Drawing Techniques Event Description
This course consists of drawing from 2D source material using traditional drawing methods:
- contour perception and construction
- separation of lights and darks (gray scale]
- drawing using slight-size, proportional, and constructive techniques.
Each session builds on methods and progress from the previous session. By the end of the course the student will
be able to see clear progress in the ability to draw in representational manner.
Workshops will be held October 12, 19, 26 and November 2, 9, 16, 2024 from 1-3pm
