Intro to Traditional Broom Making - Nov 14 Event Description
Limited to 8 participants to allow for individualized instruction
a cake tester, pot scrubber, and root vegetable scrubber. You’ll then build on those techniques to create a triple-style whisk broom.
All materials and tools needed for the workshop are provided, including natural, undyed broomcorn and tying cord. Participants will also leave with additional broomcorn and cord so they can continue practicing and refining their skills at home.
Ages 14+ No previous broom-making experience is required. Please note: Traditional broom-tying techniques require moderate upper-arm strength, bilateral hand dexterity, and lower-limb coordination.
