Create a Wooden Cutting Board
Hands-on woodworking experience with Jana Lecander Johns

Saturday, April 18 from 1-4pm

Workshop fee: $70 Includes all materials
Must be 16 or older.

Are you ready to get creative and learn a hands-on woodworking skill? Join us for a fun and practical workshop where you’11 design and make your very own wooden cutting board!

You will learn how to:
• Choose the right type of wood 
• Glue the wood together 
• Choose a handle design
• Cut, sand and finish your board
• Apply a natural, food safe finish to make it last for years to come

Additional Skills:
•Learn basic safety around woodworking tools
•Learn about the different types of woodworking machinery and tools
•Learn how to properly use these tools
