Dare to face Utah’s winter cold and show your strength at the Cold Courage 5K & Freedom Plunge — a bold winter challenge honoring those who gave us our freedom.

Kick off your year with this one-of-a-kind winter event starting and ending at the Mt. Pleasant Aquatic Center. The Cold Courage 5K is a fun, accessible course designed for runners and walkers alike, proving that courage comes in many forms.

After crossing the finish line, the challenge isn’t over.

Step up and prove your bravery in the Freedom Plunge — a heart-pounding leap into a large, ice-cold, above-ground pool right at the finish line. It’s cold. It’s bold. And it’s for a cause worth jumping for.

• Cold Courage 5K participants receive:

  • A commemorative winter beanie

  • A finisher medal to honor your accomplishment

• Freedom Plunge participants receive:

         *Cold Courage 5k is a fun, untimed winter run. Participants are welcome to track their own time*
