2025 at Gravestone Precision in Texas. What an outing. 1) The opportunity to shoot virtually all rifles in Bergara's substantial lineup, side by side, is unique. Try em out and find the rifle at your price point and see/shoot the others to experience what you get for incremental cost. 2) Affiliated vendor products. Not just "use the products" but reps in hand to speak with. I got great info from Revic and Kahles reps. Shot off obstacles with Armageddon bags (and got great tips from Shane on positional set up). I had a great experience shooting Norma ammo- which is now on my radar. 3) Starting with Bergara Team captain Aaron, then Travis on 22lr, on to centerlfire with Mark, Travis S, Sharp and Shane-- every one of these guys engaged me. "What can I tell ya about this rifle?" All of them had tips at the bench and really wanted to slow you down (NOT hurry you thru). My big thanks to Travis T on answers regarding stock/bottom metal and Shane who took the brunt of my positional questions). What an opportunity! Speak to the TEAM members one on one. And these guys are as friendly as anyone. To a person, they were all thrilled to be there answering questions and helping. I don't know how to properly emphasize how personable and eager the guys were. Their passion for Bergara and love of the sport was obvious from start to finish. Awesome! 4) Jake's Gravestone range and shop. Gorgeous property and range build out. Also, as you'd expect from a world class shooter, the inventory in his shop was exceptional. I bought a stock that is not readily available and he had brass that is very difficult to source. He's not running a Walmart. Not aisles of stuff but top shelf products. 5) The attendees. Young and old, ladies and gents, Australia to Washington state as well as locals. It was hours of laughing and talking. The crowd was spectacular! Gun talk. Bullet talk. Optics talk. Some good natured ribbing and joking around. If you had to host a party for 100 strangers at your house, you could take this group hands down--shooters of all abilities who are happy to be out with like-passioned folks. 6) Safety. First topic of the day and a theme that didnt lapse. 7) Crazy great value- a day at a spectacular1000 yard range, lunch, 24 rounds of 6.5cm and 10 of 22lr Water, tents, outhouses, generous swag bag. 8) Tricia the marketing machine. She's everywhere all day. Handing out water. Doing give-aways. Herding all us cats. Thank you all! See ya next year.
