2019 Coach Tarpey's Viking Youth Football Clinic
August 5th-8th
5:00-6:30 PM
East Bridgewater Jr/Sr High School Football Field
$75 (plus processing fee of $4.98)/registered player
The Viking Football Clinic is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to improve their skills, techniques and to really appreciate the game of football and get them ready to start their upcoming season. Under the guidance of Shawn Tarpey along with his current and former players each camper will leave with a greater understanding as to why football is one of the most popular sports in the world. Each day will consist of lectures, demonstrations and drill sessions.
Objectives:
- Each player will receive instruction from several outstanding coaches
- The Player:Coach ratio will not exceed 10:1
- Players will receive individual attention in areas of weakness or specialty
- Conditioning will be stressed in order to prepare campers for the upcoming season and to help prevent injury
- Will provide a positive learning environment for each athlete while teaching the fundamentals of football
- Teamwork, sportsmanship confidence, and self-discipline will be stressed
Equipment Needed:
- Helmet
- T-shirt, Shorts, Socks
- Football Cleats
- Shoulder Pads
- Mouthpiece
- Water
