USHIFT - First Time Gun Owner Course

The Utah Shooters Organization USHIFT program, Utah Shooters Initiative for Training, has partnered with BPMF inc. and Nielsen Training and Consulting to bring you this incredible first-time gun owner course. The USHIFT program was developed to create low-cost opportunities for new shooters to receive quality training. We will go over the fundamentals of preparing to shoot your new gun for the first time and the items needed to properly use your new firearm.  We will go over some basic safety skills and rules.  We will go over the proper grip, the proper stance and sight alignment.  We will help you to get accurate shots and prepare you to begin your process of fully understanding and respecting your firearm.  This is a great course taught by firearms training industry professionals that have trained thousands of gun handlers from novice to top tier military and police officers.  It is a fantastic place to start your handgun training.

1. Your new handgun

2. 2 magazines

3. 50 rounds of ammunition

4. Hearing protection

5. Eye protection

6. Notepad and writing tool
