Welcome to HollyDay Farms' Pondside Picnic Experiences.
We have a Classic Set Up which is red, white and blue and a Bohemian Set Up which is pink, white, cream. Let us know your choice.
Nestled on our private 15-acre farm in Monroe, North Carolina, our luxury picnic experiences are designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and create meaningful memories surrounded by nature. Overlooking our beautiful 2-acre pond, each picnic is thoughtfully prepared and waiting for you when you arrive.
Whether you're planning a romantic picnic date, a sunset picnic with your partner, a birthday celebration, a Father's Day fishing picnic, a Mother's Day outing, a girls' day out, a family fishing adventure, or even a surprise proposal, we'll create a beautiful setting so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the experience.
Spend the afternoon fishing by the pond, enjoying lunch under the shade of a tree, celebrating a special occasion, or watching the sunset reflect across the water. Our goal is to create a simple, stress-free experience that feels both beautiful and memorable.
Pondside Picnic Experience
Picnic for Two
$225 Perfect for you and one guest.
Package Includes:
• Admission for 2 guests
• 2-hour private picnic setup
• Red, white, and blue picnic décor
• Low picnic table with floor cushions
• White cooler with ice packs
• Picnic basket
• 2 fishing rod rentals
• 1 container of bait
• Choice of 2 meals (sub or salad)
• 2 individual bags of chips
• 2 desserts (cookie or brownie)
• 2 beverages
• Complete setup and cleanup
After your picnic concludes, you are welcome to continue fishing and enjoying the farm until sunset.
Additional Guests
Children 12 & Under
$25 per child
Includes:
• Meal
• Chips
• Dessert
• Beverage
Children 12 and under receive complimentary admission to the farm.
*Toddlers/Babies do not have to be charged for this, you're welcome to bring their own food.
Guests Ages 13+
$35 per guest

• Farm admission

Additional Fishing Options
Additional Fishing Rod Rental: $5 each
Additional Bait: $6 per container
Group Size & Seating
Each picnic setup comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests.
For groups larger than 4, an additional picnic setup is required.
Additional Picnic Setup for up to 4 more: $50
Includes:
• Additional picnic blanket
• Additional low picnic table
• Additional pillows
• Additional décor setup
This allows larger families or groups to comfortably enjoy the experience together.
Picnic Table Seating Available
Prefer not to sit on the ground?
A limited number of traditional picnic table reservations are available at no additional charge.
These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and overlook the pond.
Please request picnic table seating when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the picnic setup?
Your picnic setup is reserved for 2 hours. Afterward, our team will remove the setup and clean the area.
You are welcome to remain on the farm and continue fishing until sunset. If you'd like additional time please let us know.
Is this a private experience?
The pond is shared with other guests unless you reserve the farm for a private event. It's $110 per hour with a limit of a 3 hour rental.
What if it rains?
If severe weather is expected, we are happy to reschedule your reservation to a future date. Or, for an additional cost, we can set up a 15' clear dome tent.
How much notice is required?
Reservations require a minimum of 48 hours notice so we can prepare your food and picnic setup.
