Lace up those running shoes and pull on your ugliest holiday sweater—it’s time to dash, jingle, and laugh your way through the Santa’s Sweater Sprint!
This festive 5K and 1-mile family fun run celebrates holiday cheer in motion with prizes for the best (and worst!) sweaters — Most Festive, Funniest Family, and Santa’s Favorite.
After you cross the finish line, cozy up with hot cocoa and holiday treats at The Cove Pond as we keep the celebration going with music, photos, and laughter until 11 AM.
5K Pricing: $25 for the first runner in your family, $15 for each additional family member
1-Mile Run: $15 per participant
Packet Pick-Up: December 11 & 12 at The Sports Connection, Herriman, UT
Check-In: 8:30 AM | Run Starts: 9:00 AM | Cocoa Party: Until 11:00 AM
So grab your family, deck yourselves out in your most outrageous holiday gear, and join us for the jolliest jog of the season!
Racers receive a packet with a beanie & a race number at pick up, and a swag bag at the event.

The race was poorly marked resulting in all of the runners missing the correct turns. The prizes were handed out arbitrarily and the first place prize was given to the second place runner for no apparent reason. The course was nice but the organizers hardly knew what they were doing. It’s a small event with 40-50 runners that was meant to be low key but there is no official timing. I was the runner that finished in first and I don’t really mind that I didn’t get a prize but the only communication about that was said to me indirectly that I ran a shorter race than everyone else. This was not true, no one looked at my watch but just because someone can run a 21 minute 5k doesn’t mean they should be ignored.
