Lake Almanor Poker Paddle

Once again it’s time for our favorite water event on the lake – the 2024 Poker Paddle! 

 This is seriously the most chill and relaxing event at the lake!

 Day-of registration begins at 7:00 am and the paddle starts at 8:00 at Plumas Pines Resort on the West Shore. Paddlers choose a 5 or 8 mile course.  No need to get out of your kayak to pick up your poker chips for the winning hand, as there are three boats anchored offshore serving as the rest stops. A SAG boat patrols the course all morning to assist anyone needing help.  Paddlers arrive back at the  start where they hand in their poker hand and enjoy a lunch provided by Plumas Pines, listen to music and await the announcement of the winning poker hands (first and second prizes are cash, the worst hand is a gift certificate). Cool swag is included in the registration fee.
