Photography Class - Master Your Camera Controls - Hoboken at Night, NJ

The DPA instructors who lead these workshops are professional photographers.

The workshop provides instruction for anyone who wants to fully understand their camera, with a focus on this topic alone, in a supportive small-group setting. Classes are designed to improve your skills no matter what camera model you own.

For each Master Your Camera Controls session, a maximum of 5 attendees sit for 90 minutes with the instructor, who will walk you through the automatic and manual camera controls of your specific camera or cellphone. (More than 5 attendees would be too chaotic if each person brings a different camera with different controls.)

After enrollment, we collect your exact camera make and model in advance so the instructor can highlight any special features. This allows the photographer the option of overriding the automatic camera controls, which sometimes disengage when the mechanics of the camera miscalculate the visual effect you are attempting.

The Master Your Camera Controls session is always taught very close to the meeting spot of our Composition in the Field sessions, which we also offer for purchase and which take place immediately after. This makes it easy for those who want to enroll in both classes.
