About RallySound
For 24 years, Adam has been on a remarkable journey as a touring singer/songwriter. With no initial resources or knowledge of the music world, his story began humbly in the bars of Boston. One person at a time, he built an underground fan community that now spans the globe. His commitment and authenticity have created something special—something that can be felt at every Adam Ezra Group show, where the energy from the stage is matched by the voices and spirit of their audience.
Today, the Adam Ezra Group is constantly on the road, touring and recording across the country. Their fanbase, described as “incredibly passionate” and “unlike any other,” is proof that this connection is no accident. Adam has always prioritized giving back to his supporters. Whether through his unique commitment each year to play a solo tour, literally visiting the homes of fans around the country, or during the pandemic when he livestreamed for his community every night for 500 consecutive nights, he’s shown that his bond with his audience goes far beyond the music.
Their compelling live performances have led to opportunities to share the stage with legendary acts such as Steve Miller, ZZ Top, The Goo Goo Dolls, Judy Collins, Blues Traveler, America, and many more. John Oates of Hall & Oates has also become a close collaborator, co-writing and producing their latest release, “Hold Each Other Now.”
The Adam Ezra Group’s talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed. They have been recognized as Band of the Year, Americana Act of the Year, and Song of the Year—twice—by the New England Music Awards. But their impact goes beyond music. The band received the prestigious Grassroots Award for their commitment to civic engagement and service, a cause close to Adam’s heart since his earliest days as an artist.
In 2011, Adam took his dedication to community empowerment a step further by founding RallySound, a nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of music to make a difference. In 2023 alone, RallySound organized 30 collections and events for nonprofits across the six New England states, as well as in New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Their flagship event, The Ramble, is a testament to their mission, raising awareness and support for veteran homelessness.
This year marked their 16th Ramble festival and the 12th year of partnership with the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV). To date, The Ramble has raised well over a half a million dollars for NECHV, a true testament to the power of music combined with the belief that small communities have the power to shape our world and culture.
