Mile High Fitness Challenge

Registration Waiver & Liability Release

By registering for and participating in the Western Hunt Fest Mile High Fitness Challenge (“Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in the Mile High Fitness Challenge involves strenuous physical activity, including but not limited to running, lifting, obstacle navigation, and other physically demanding tasks. I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• Serious physical injury

• Muscle strains, sprains, or fractures

• Heat exhaustion or dehydration

• Falls or accidents during activities

• Equipment-related injuries

• Permanent disability or death

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this Event.

2. Health and Physical Condition

I certify that I am physically fit and adequately trained to participate in the Event. I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I understand it is my responsibility to consult a physician if I have any concerns about my ability to participate.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Event, I hereby release, waive, and discharge:

Western Hunt Fest (WHF), Mile High Fitness Challenge, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, partners, venue owners, and affiliates

from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained while participating in the Event.

This release applies even if such injuries are caused by the negligence of the released parties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Personal Responsibility

I agree to follow all Event rules, safety instructions, and staff directions. I understand that failure to follow these instructions may result in my removal from the Event without refund.

5. Medical Treatment Authorization

In the event of injury or medical emergency, I authorize Western Hunt Fest staff, volunteers, or medical personnel to provide or arrange medical treatment as deemed necessary. I accept full responsibility for any costs related to medical care.

6. Photo and Media Release

I grant Western Hunt Fest and its partners permission to photograph, record, and use my likeness, image, voice, and participation in any media format for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes without compensation.

7. Refund Policy

I understand that Event registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the Event organizers.

8. Agreement and Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I have read this waiver carefully and fully understand its terms. I understand that by signing it, I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue.

I sign this agreement voluntarily and without inducement.
