THIS IS A LIST OF RULES, REGULATIONS, AND GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE HIKE TO HUNT ARCHERY CHALLENGE
PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE ACKNOWLEDGING! THIS FORM MUST BE READ AND ACKNOWLEDGED BEFORE ANY PARTICIPANT WILL BE ALLOWED ONTO ANY COURSE OR TO TAKE PART IN ANY EVENT, SHOOTING OR NOT.
IN CONSIDERATION OF BEING PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY MANNER IN THE SPORT AND ACTIVITIES AT THE HIKE TO HUNT ARCHERY CHALLENGE, I ACKNOWLEDGE, APPRECIATE, AND AGREE THAT:
1. I understand that the activities and the sport of archery is potentially dangerous. I will comply with all the posted rules and regulations provided by HTH. The Range Officer is responsible to ensure these rules and regulations are adhered to...the Range Officer has discretion to ask any participant to leave the range, and/or the event, immediately for any reason. If I observe any unusual or unnecessary hazard during my participation, I will bring such to the attention of the Range Officer or any member of the HTH team as soon as practical.
2. Follow the course to each sequentially numbered shooting cone. Shoot from within TWO feet behind the cone, to as close as you want to the target. You or any shooter in your group may walk as close to the target as you wish, but you may not stand further behind the shooting cone to make the shot longer than designed.
3. Make sure the previous group of shooters have left the area completely before drawing back your bow to shoot your target.
4. Field and Target points only for all targets. No broadheads, including practice heads, are to be shot at any time on any course.
5. Range finders and binoculars are allowed on any course.
6. Please limit groups of shooters to SIX maximum.
7. Be courteous to the next group of shooters. If you are a large group, please allow smaller, faster groups to shoot past you and move on. If you miss a target, please do not spend more than a few minutes searching for your arrow if there are shooters waiting.
8. Please be diligent in picking up any trash you may create and do not use the course as a restroom.

IN CONSIDERATION OF BEING PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY MANNER IN THE SPORT AND ACTIVITIES AT THE HIKE TO HUNT ARCHERY CHALLENGE, I ACKNOWLEDGE, APPRECIATE, AND AGREE THAT:
1. The risk of injury from the activity and the equipment involved in the sport of archery is potentially significant. These risks include the potential for permanent disability and death...while particular safety practices and personal discipline will minimize these risks, the risk still does exist. Please be aware of the proper use of all your equipment and follow all manufacturer's guidelines for your equipment. Event participant must also follow all course rules and guidelines for shooting at all times.
2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of those persons released from liability below. I assume full responsibility for my participation.
3. I understand that the activities and the sport of archery is potentially dangerous. I will comply with all the posted rules and regulations provided by Hike to Hunt Archery Challenge. 4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless Southwest Archery Challenge LLC, DBA Hike to Hunt and their members and employees, the owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the archery activities, their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees ("Releases") with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise, except that which is caused by gross negligence and/or misconduct.
5. I hereby grant Southwest Archery Challenge LLC, DBA Hike to Hunt, permission to use photographs or video footage in any and all publications for marketing or promotional purposes, including website and social media, without payment or any other consideration in perpetuity.
6. I hereby authorize Southwest Archery Challenge LLC, DBA Hike to Hunt, to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, or publish these photos or video. I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my image appears. Additionally, I waive the right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph or video.
7. I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge Southwest Archery Challenge LLC, DBA Hike to Hunt, from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf of, or on behalf of my estate which may have or have by reason of this authorization.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND PHOTO RELEASE WAIVER AGREEMENT. I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, CONTENTS, MEANING, AND IMPACT BY AGREEING TO IT. I ACKNOWLEDGE IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
