WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
READ CAREFULLY
In consideration of Pyrrhic Tactical Sports / Pyrrhic Indoor Sports (hereafter referred to as Pyrrhic)
furnishing services and /or equipment to enable me (the Player) to participate in Paintball/Airsoft/Laser
Tag/Nerf/Gel Blaster/VR games (hereafter mentioned as experiences), I agree as follows:
I fully understand and acknowledge that; (a) risks and dangers exist in my participation in experiences at Pyrrhic; (b) my participation in such activities and/or use of such equipment may result in my injury or
illness including but not limited to bodily injury, disease, strains- fractures, partial and/or total paralysis,
eye injury, blindness, heat stroke, heart attack, death or other ailments that could cause serious
disability; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, employees,
officers or agents of Pyrrhic , the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents,
vehicle or aircraft accidents, breaches of contract, weather, the forces of nature or other causes. These
risks and dangers may arise from foreseeable or unforeseeable causes; and (d) by my participation in
these activities and/or use of equipment, I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibility for
any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of
the owners, agents, officers, employees of Pyrrhic, or by any other person.
I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, hereby voluntarily agree to release,
waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify, Pyrrhic and its owners, agents/officers and
employees and the owner of the properties Pyrrhic uses from any and all claims, actions or losses for
bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my
use of Paintball/Airsoft/Laser Tag/Nerf/Gel Blaster/VR equipment or my participation in the
experiences. I specifically understand that I am releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for the negligent acts or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers or employees of Pyrrhic. I am aware that the Pyrrhic Tactical Sports facility is outdoors and I may be exposed to insects and other wildlife.
I am also aware that any photographs taken at Pyrrhic and it’s players are property of the photographer
and may be used for promotional services by Pyrrhic.
I also understand and agree that breaking of any posted rules (online or onsite), including being under
the influence of alcohol or drugs, can cause my expulsion from the property without any refund. I
understand that Alcohol, Drugs and pets (other than official service dogs) are never permitted on the
property.
I HAVE READ THE ABOVE WAIVER RULES. I AM STATING THAT I AM 18 OR OLDER AND THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF ANY MINORS ADDED TO MY WAIVER OR I HAVE PERMISSION TO SIGN FOR THEM.
BY SIGNING THIS WIAVER, IT IS MY INTENTION TO RELEASE, EXEMPT AND RELIEVE PYRRHIC AND THE LAND OWNER FROM LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR WRONGFUL DEATH CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER CAUSE.
I, the undersigned member (and my parent or guardian if I am younger than 18 years of age), intending to be legally bound,
do hereby forever release and waive any and all rights, claims, and actions for damages that we, our heirs, executors,
administrators, and assigns may have, or that may hereafter accrue against any and all persons, organizations,
and other entities associated with the organization, including, but not limited to Stride Events,
sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, Pyrrhic Tactical Sports Management, arising out of or in connection with my involvement before,
during, or after the association membership.
I verify that I am physically fit and sufficiently capable to participate in this membership and I assume the risks
involved in this active membership. I further attest that I will be mindful of risks related to membership,
and hold said sponsors and organizers blameless in any harm that may happen.
I consent to the collection and use of my Personal Information as contained in the Privacy Policy.
I also give my permission for the free use of my name and/or pictures in telecasts,
broadcasts, newspapers, posters, advertising, etc.
I also acknowledge understanding that the charge to my card will show up as Stride Events.
I acknowledge that the online processing fees and charitable donations are non-refundable.
I also acknowledge that any charitable donations will have 4.97% withheld from the donation
to pay credit card and administrative costs.
Stride Events shall not be liable to me for any direct, indirect, special, incidental,
consequential or exemplary damages including, but not limited to, loss of profits,
goodwill, use, data or other intangible loses. Stride Events does not guarantee the
completeness or accuracy of any information contained in, or provided in conjunction
with the http://www.strideevents.com website. Stride Events is not responsible for any
omissions or inaccuracies, or for the results obtained from this information.
Stride Events facilitates registration for various events, some of which allow memberships
under the age of thirteen (13). We require a submission of birth date for all
membership entries. For children under the age of thirteen (13), parental
or guardian consent is required.
I agree that the statutes and laws of the State of Utah, USA, will apply to all
matters relating to this Agreement and Waiver. I irrevocably consent that
exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with Stride Events relating to this
Agreement and Waiver resides in the courts of Utah, and I further agree and
expressly consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction in the courts of Utah
in conjunction with any such dispute including any claim involving Stride Events.
